NOTD | Essie - Play date

Essie is one of my favorite nail polish brand. Many of of my most used polishes are from Essie.

The latest to make it's place in my collection is Play date -  bright purple pastel. I love how it's basically almost neon, while still being a pastel. It's so unique, I don't have anything else like it in my collection.

I have to add two coats for it to be fully opaque. However, I had no problems with the application.

Overall it's a great polish with a great color - I feel like this polish will get a lot of use this spring from me!

4 things that are currently inspiring me

+ Travelling

The thought of going to new places I've never been to before. Discovering new things, seeing how people live in different places, I just love itttt! So many places to visit, so little time. Also, I'm going out of town, next week - cannot wait!

+ Discovering new music

There's nothing that inspire me more than discovering new bands/songs.  There's always new songs coming up, and I feel like, lately there's a lot of new good music. Am I right?

+ Spring

New seasons always inspire me. But Spring is special, cause it means Summer is coming. The weather is getting warmer, snow is melting, everything is getting better.

+ Rediscovering beauty products I own

When you watch Youtube videos/read blogs/go on Instagram/Pinterest, it can get easy to buy more products then you can use. Lately, I've been trying not to be that much (unless I really need it), & I'm rediscovering new products I already own and it's so fun!

Product review | MAC fix +

Today I'll be reviewing one of my favorite product: MAC fix +

This finishing/refreshing mist is made with vitamins & minerals, green tea, chamomile, cucumber and the scent of Sugi (I bought this in the MAC store at Times Square in New York and the smell reminds me of NY. hahaha!)

The reasons I love this spray... well, there's a lot of reasons: 

1) how it smooths your foundation/powder so it doesn't leave powder. (finishes your makeup), makes your makeup look very natural.

2) how it adds radiance/glow to your overall makeup look.

3) wakes you up.

4) make your makeup stay on longer.

5) the great smell.

6) how you can use it to intensify your eyeshadow by spraying it on the brush.

Overall, it's a great product! I will certainly be repurchasing it when I run out.
