Empties #6

I've been going through so many products lately! So expect a lot of empties post on here.

Tarte clean slate 360 creaseless primer |
So I finished this little primer, that I liked. I don't need a eye primer at the moment, but I might repurchase it in the future.
*Click here to check it out.

L'Oreal Magic skin beautifier BB in Fair |
I loved this. Very easy to work with/easy to apply. It actually has no colour but it has beautifying beads that transform in your skin shade. It also feels light on the skin. Would totally repurchase!

NUXE Eau démaquillante micellaire |
Removes eyes, face and lips makeup. It has a nice floral smell - usually don't like floral smell but I actually liked this one, but I feel like I could get tired of it. It was good, but I think there's better option out there, so I might pass this one.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Scrub-gelee |
If you know me, you know that I like anything grapefruit. This being a scrub-gelee, it has a different texture from the scrubs I tried. The smell is amazing. I would definitely repurchase, in grapefruit or try other smells.

Maybelline Fit me! Shine-free foundation in 120 |
I don't know how many of these I've been through. I just love it so much, it's so easy to apply and convienent for those early mornings/any part of the day that you're in a rush. I'm almost done another of this and I will surely repurchase or might try the new one from Revlon I believe?!

Caudalie Grape Water |
I loved this. I will surely repurchase it. Your skin feels refreshed and energized after use.

Favourites | July

Hi beauties! I'm back on track with my favorites. I didn't get the change to do my June Favorites cause I wasn't home. Which made me sad because I love my favorites with ya'll! I can't believe we're already the month of August! I literally feel like Summer just started, so weird! Anyways let's get into what I've been loving for the month of July.

For Summer, I've been loving light, coral and glowy makeup.

|Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in Tipsy|
During the Summer, I seem to be using up my corals/orange stuff! Even though I use it all year-long; I find that with a tan it looks G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! Anyhow this blush is a matte coral, seems like a scary color but it's not.  It's pigmented but it remains somewhat sheer.  Oh, also, how cute is the packaging? If you want to have more information, I have a full review on this product here.
Wet N' Wild Cream Shadow in Pixie: This is one product that I always stop using for a long period of time and then fall back in love with it and wonder why I stopped using it. I love using this cream shadow in the inner corner of my eyes; it makes me look more awake!

|Wet N Wild Blusher in Pearlescent Pink|
Another blush I reach out for during the Summer season. It looks great year-long, but it looks gorgeous with a tan! It's the perfect medium pink color with gold shimmer in it. Just enough shimmer to give you a nice glow. This blush is pigmented and has great staying power. As all the other Wet N' Wild blushes.

|Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait|
I just included this Lip Butter in my latest blogpost (here), a medium peachy shade with gold glitter. It's a perfect color for the summer, but it's one of my favorite lipstick of all time!

|Benefit the POREfessional primer|
This primer minimizes pore quickly. The cool thing is that is minimizes my pores even when I don't have it on. So I guess you consider it almost like a skincare product. It has a really nice silky texture. Also, I have a review up on my blog right here.

|Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion|
This is cult favorite in the beauty community. This primer will make your eyeshadow last all day without creasing and also make any eyeshadow appear more pigmented and brighter.

|Covergirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation|
This is a great foundation for the Summer months, it's airy and light. The mousse-like/whipped texture makes the application super simple. Does not look cakey and it looks very natural; it almost feels as if you have no foundation on. It doesn't change color throughout the day, which is great. The only thing I don't like is that the product goes down so quickly! Haven't had it for that long and I'm almost out of it. I have a full review right here.

|Stila In The Light Eyeshadow Palette|
I've been wanting this palette for the longest time and I finally got it a few weeks ago. I love it! It comes with 10 shades and a Stila eyeliner in Damsel. I love it! I won't say much about it since I've only got it a few weeks ago and plan on doing a full review on it.

Hope you enjoyed my July Favorites. What did you love in the month of July!?

Sephora Haul

Hi beauties! Long time no talk, I've been out of town camping for two weeks and I got back home yesterday. It was fun other than the fact that we didn't have wifi at our site so I couldn't blog at all, missed it so much! (don't want to see my iPhone bill-- eek!) But now I'm back at it and I'm kicking it with a Sephora Haul! During the two weeks we went out of town (again!) for a day and there's a Sephora over there. So of course I had to go.

I went in Sephora with the idea of buying Too Faced Natural Eye palette but there was none available. So I was like: hmm, which other palette do I want? Passed by Stila and remembered I wanted the ''In the light" palette.
I love details. Found this super cute. Plus it's exactly the quote I need at the moment. :) (Good job, Stila!)

believe in the beauty of the future. - sarah lucero

I don't want to talk about this lovely palette too much but it has 10 beautiful shades including the super-famous Kitten eyeshadow, a Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Damsel and a lookbook (looks you can recreate with in the light).

The palette was 50$ and I've already spent way too much money at other stores. So I tought I will only buy this for today, but of COURSE Sephora has to tempt us with all the cheap(ish) goodies when you're about to go pay. So of COURSE I picked up some things.

First thing I picked up this lovely tanning stuff duo, which features two travel-friendly sizes of Brazilliance skin rejuvenating maracuja self tanner and Amazonian clay mineral bronze in Park Ave Princess, all that for 12$.

Also, I bought Gettin' Cheeky kit which I was super excited to see for 20$ cause I've been wanting to try Posie Tint, Sun Beam, Cha Cha Tint (and Benetint, which isn't included but whatever...)! The packaging made me think the bottles would be bigger but they're not, but for the price I won't complain. I'm super excited to try these out!

And I recieved a sample of Laura Mercier Face Polish which is an exfoliator. Super excited about trying always love having samples! :)

Hope you will have nice week! Talk to you soon! Xx

Btw, can anyone tell me how do I add my name in a picture at the end of my blog post?! Thanks! :) Xx

Review | Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in Tipsy

Hi lovelies! Hope you're all having an amazing week! I've been sick for over a week (still am, but much better, so yay for that!) Today I will be review a blush from Tarte in Tipsy.

This blush, Tipsy, is a matte coral. In the pan it might seem scary, but it's not. It's super pigmented, with ton of color pay-off while still remaining sheer, if that makes sense? The formula is super easy to work with, super soft. I believe that the formula would be good for any skin types. No matter what anyone might say I love the packaging. I think it's super cute.

As it claims, it last all-day. It's one of my favorite blush for Spring/Summer or any season for that matter. It looks GREAT with a tan. (which I'm totally not right now ugh). For light skin, I believe that it may be too pigmented unless it's applied with a very light hand.

Here are swatches applied heavily:

If you're looking for a great coral blush the Spring/Summer, stop looking! This might be the one for you! I was super pleased with this product and I would like another Tarte blush, possibly in "Exposed".

Do you like my new background aka tissue to display my lovely makeup? :) I love it!! On another note, I'm super happy, I've been posting more on my blog! Yay me! Finding tips and tricks to save time/using it wisely is great! :)

What's your favorite Tarte blush?

Empties #1

Hi beauties! Missed you all so much! Goal for April: write moooore posts! Hopefully nothing will get in the way this time, cause I love blogging. :)

I'm so excited to show you some of empties that have been sitting in my MAC bag just waiting for me to write this post! So, let's go.

Make up remover wipes (Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes, Nivea Aqua Effect Gentle Cleansing Wipes, Maybelline Clean Express! Makeup Remover): I was impressed with all of them and I would repurchase all of them. They all did a great job at removing makeup but the one that stood out the most to me was the Nivea one. But all in all they're all really great makeup remover.

TRESemmé Rejuvenating Mud Masque: Since I've tried Macademia Deep Repair Masque all drugstore hair masque seems to do nothing for me. Or a huge difference, let's put it this way. Btw, it has a great smell.

Tarte Clean State Flawless 12-hr brightening primer: This was a good primer, I haven't tried that much face primer to say this is one of the best. But it was a good product for the time it lasted. I need to try more Tarte products.

Maybelline Dream Lumi: I feel like I was expecting too much from this highlighting concealer since everybody raves about it. I would say it was a decent concealer, but I did not notice anything major about highlighting/brightening.

EOS hand cream: This was a very nice hand cream. Not thick, very light with good hydratation and a very good smell. As all EOS products, very cute packaging also. I will probably repurchase once I finish the hand creams I currently have.

Nivea Pure & Natural Body Milk/Face care tester: I always seem to forget about my testers. Those were good but I don't think about purchasing them anytime soon.

Covergirl Clean Foundation: If you're in the market for a cheap foundation, this is a great option.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation: I don't get how so many people LOVE this foundation. I don't hate it, but I  just don't think it's worth all the attention that it's getting, way too liquidy (don't you see how messy the bottle is?) like seriously, ain't nobody got time for that. Also I love having coverage but with this I feel like I'm wearing a mask which is not very my thing, okay! But I mean I don't hate it, just not my ultimate favorite like everybody else.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution: I'm sure you've all heard about this, but it's such an amazing product. I won't say much, but it's the best makeup remover/cleanser, literally removes everything.

Bath & Body Works Vanilla Beam Noel Shower Gel: The smell of this is the BOMB! I can't describe it, it's like cozy, well all I can say is that it's magical. I will buy this every year during the holidays cause I love it that much. Enough said.

Rimmel Gentle Eye Make Up Remover: For the price, it does a good job. This isn't my first time buying this and I will surely repurchase sometime soon.

Now that I have used up some product I can buy some more! YAAY! #bloggerprobs

Products I love using everyday

Hi beauties! Today I felt like showing some of my favorites everyday makeup. I have not found a routine that I stick to, and I change my use of product, because I don't like making my other product lonely! ;) Ha, just kidding.
Products:

E.L.F. Makeup Mist & Set- Or I like to call it: a hairspray for the face. Perfect for oily skin and long nights out.

Tarte Clean State Flawless 12hr brightening primer- A primer is essential if you want your make up to stay on all-day. (Who doesn't?)

Revlon Colorstay Foundation- Great foundation for flawless look and lightweight feel.

NYX Concealer in a jar- Perfect for imperfection.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder- If you have shine on your face, this will matify your face.

Annabelle Blushon #18- Perfect color for this season!

Sephora Silk Blush Bronzer Duo, Argentinean Duo- This come with a blush, but I'm talking about bronzer. Bronzer will make you look like you've been tanning in this cold winter.

Benefit High Beam Luminescent Complexion Enhancer- Put this on your cheekbones and you'll look like a superstar!

NARS Turkish Delight- This gloss is famous because of Kim Kardashian. It is perfect combined with the next lipstick, that she also uses with Turkish Delight.

MAC Angel- Perfect Kim K combo. This has become her signature look. It's such a perfect color and with the gloss, it's a delight.

Urban Decay Primer Potion- I'm sure you've all seen this primer before. You need a primer if you don't want your eyeshadow to crease throughout the day. Trust me.

Lancome Hypnose Mascara- If I could only wear one thing (apart from face product) - mascara would be it! It's a must. Even people who doesn't wear alot of make up uses mascara because it just opens up your eyes and makes a difference.

Maybelline Line Stiletto- Eyeliner is a must also.

Milani Brow fix brow kit- If you don't already use a brow powder, you really should because it frames your face like nothing else.

What do you like to use everyday? XO
Caroline
