Blogging tips | Time management

To start off, I'm truly not the best at managing time. With college/school, work and blogging, days seem to never have enough hours. So here are some of my tips that I have found over my time of blogging that has helped me a bit!

image from www.weheartit.com
Keep a notebook for your blog
Go to like Walmart and buy yourself a super cute notebook and write down blog posts ideas. Always keep it close cause you never know when you might have an amazing blog post ideas. Put a heart or a star next to the blog post ideas, you really want to write next to keep track.

 Try reading blog posts everyday
If you don't, you'll end up like me having to catch on 500 blog posts to read, kinda overwhelming, right? Reading blog post everyday will help lower that amount of having too much to read and not enough time. Reading blog post will also help you with your writing skills and give you inspiration.

Write posts in advance
One that is extremly hard for me. I always try to schedule my post but I always want to post it right away so I never have some posts in advance. But, trust me, it's good if you do! I'd say try to always have 3 blog posts ready.

Take alot of pictures at once
When you want to take pictures of something for a new blog post you want to post as soon as possible, try to take pictures of your blog posts ideas you have in your notebook. This way when you feel like writing a blog post, you'll have pictures ready!

Organise your computer folders
When you're a beauty blogger, you always end up with 1000 pictures of beauty products and it can be hard to always take the time to organise them. I'm not the best at this too. But I really need to try. You're gonna save so much time instead of looking for pictures.

Roger & Gallet - Fleur de Figuier Ultra-nourishing oil

Hi beauties!

Today, I'll be talking about a new product: Roger and Gallet Fleur de figuier Ultra-nourishing oil*. This is the newest launch from Roger and Gallet - I have never tried any of their products, but after trying this one I really want to try more.

So, basically, this is an oil for the body and the hair. 96% of the ingredients are from natural origins. It has a great smell! This oil has some fruit oils such as grape, pomegranate, black currant, apricot and sweet almond.  It is rich in omega 6 and antioxidant vitamins A and E. It isn't sticky and doesn't take long to absorb. Your skin will feel very smooth after using this. Your hair will be shiny and soft after using this. For the hair, it is suggested to spray the oil in your hands before applying it to your hair, and apply it more on the ends - be careful, if you apply too much it could be too heavy on the hair.

I apply this after getting out of the shower/bath on my skin and it makes my skin so soft and smells wonderful - the smell makes me so happy! Also, it makes my skin look really healthy. I think the packaging is super cute and fancy. It looks very luxurious. It is actually a glass bottle. The back of has a pretty illustration.

Overall, I recommend it, it's a great product - it smells great, has a lovely packaging and makes your skin and hair look great. Just don't apply too much on your hair as it could be a bit heavy.

Check out this product by clicking here.  Also,  Escentual.com is offering a 1/3 off of Roger and Gallet throughout the month of August.

UPDATE: I know I haven't been blogging alot lately, but I have been so busy. Lately, I've been having a bit more time to work on my blog and stuff, try/experiment with new products which I'm so about. I have way more time to stay informed on what is going on in the beauty world/community by reading blogs/watching Youtube videos, keeping up with my social media which all makes me very happy! I'm happy that I finally have some time to work on what I adore! If you have any suggestion for blog post, please let me know in the comments cause I can never have too much ideas.

I'm so happy to be finally back and I can't wait to see what's next :) xx

Another thing is that I need a new blog design, any suggestions on who I should contact? One last question: should I change my blog name? I really need answers! Thanks xx

Five favorites.

Hi everyone! For the past few months I've been trying to not buy as much makeup and use/test what I do have. I'm always trying to try new things in my collection.

Here's what I've been loving lately...

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Medium/Deep Matte Bronzer//
I believe that I have found my favorite bronzer. It's a matte bronzer that isn't orange/muddy aka the perfect bronzer, plus, it smells like chocolate! Say what? It also blends very well! Love, love, love.

Stila Self Adjusting blush in Coral//
This is the perfect blush for the summer. As the name mentions it's a coral blush, it's on the pink side. The texture of this blush is perfect. It blends it quite easily, it is pigmented, lovely color, what more could you ask for?

NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien//
Had this in a Sephora 500 points reward and I am so glad that I discovered this gem. I will be repurchasing this forever and always. I love the texture, color, finish, basically everything about it. The color is a medium toned rose color.  It's the perfect neutral in my opinion. It goes on super smooth. It has a slight shine to it. I really want to try more NARS Satin Lip Pencil... if you have any you really like, please let me know in the comments!

Buxom lipgloss in Creamsicle//
This is one of my all-time favorite lipgloss, especially for the summer time! This subtle creamy corally pink lipgloss is just perfect. It is not sticky. It smells really good as well.

Benefit Sunbeam Highlighter//
If you're looking for a summer highlight, this might be the right one for you. This golden bronze highlighter is perfect for a tanned skin. As Sephora mentioned on their website it's like liquid sunshine! Gives your skin a lovely sunkissed glow! One thing I really like about it's that it's not glittery, but shimmery. It doesn't make your face oily. I will surely repurchase the full size when I finish this one.

And here are some swatches...

Hope you have enjoyed this blog post and enjoying summer! Leave me in the comments what you have been loving lately! xx

MAC Pink lemonade lipglass // Review

Hi! Today I will be reviewing one of my summer favorite, MAC's Pink lemonade lipglass. Btw, long time no talk and hope you're all having a wonderful summer! :)

This is the first lipglass from MAC that I've tried and it surely wont be the last. The texture is a bit sticky. The staying power is about 2 to 3 hours. The pigmentation, I'm not sure if I can say its sheer but it more on the paler side of things so many that's why its slightly sheer.

I love the color of this lipglass: warm pinky coral with a pearl effect. The adorable name Pink Lemonade describes it perfectly! :) Although this lipglass sounds like the typical summer lipgloss it is actually wearable all year long and on daily basis. Also, it smells like vanilla.
