Maybelline Baby Lips Dr Rescue // Review

It's no secret that I love Maybelline Baby Lips. So when I heard about those I was super excited! I actually got them both for Christmas, my peeps knows me so well! haha ;)

So basically Baby Lips Dr Rescue are medicated lipbalm with a hint of color that  helps with dry and sore lips... so let's see if it's true!

The two I have are:
* Coral Crave (very sheer pink coral)
* Pink Me Up (sheer medium-toned pink)

Pigmentation: These aren't pigmented. They are very sheer. They are promoted as having natural tints to provide healthier looking lips. Pink me up has a bit of tint but Coral Crave is basically invisble. I had a really hard time having swatches.

Scent: Dr Rescue's are from from the original Baby Lips. They aren't fruit, more minty, think Vicks. If you aren't a fan of a strong menthol smell I wouldn't suggest this to you.
Texture and staying power:

Texture & Staying Power: The texture of these are really thin as opposed to the original ones. They aren't as creamy and they feel a bit more greasy on the lips. The staying power isn't the best, it doesn't last long at all.

Overall, I do not feel like this product has made any difference for me. Might be that I don't suffer from dry lips. The color pay-off isn't really the best as well. It's an ok product. The disappointment might come from the fact that I'm a fan of the original Baby Lips formula. I feel like the original formula works better for me in term of dry and sore lips.

Revlon Parfumerie Nailpolish | Wintermint

Hi! LONG time no talk! Wow! I'm super sorry but I have been way too busy to blog or to even think about it! I've missed it so much. In 2014, even if I don't have time to blog I will MAKE the time to blog. :)

So I'm coming back with a review of my favorite nailpolish at the moment which is from the new Revlon Parfumerie collection in Wintermint. Revlon's Parfumerie are scented nailpolishes (and might I add, super cute bottles).

Wintermint immediately caught my eyes as it seems hugely familiar to deborah lipmann's Mermaid Dream. As the bottle is super cute, I was kinda worried about the application since the top is small. But to my surprise, it was really easy to work with. The color is very unique; it's like a seafoam/minty with blue glitters and small gold glitters with a matte finish.

The polish is super easy to work with. After 3 coats, the color was opaque.

For the scented part: it will only smell after your nails are completly dry. This one smells like mint!! Yummy! It doesn't last more than two days though. (sadly)

Overall, it's a great nail polish that smells nice, classy packaging and is very similar to Mermaid Dream by deborah lipmann.

August Favorites 2013 ♡

Hi everyone! I can't believe how fast summer went by. I honestly feel like it's just started and now it's already September! I'm having my first day of class tomorrow at college! Yesterday was more like a welcome day and stuff. Soon, I'll do my Summer Favorites so be on the look out for that.

So let's get started! :)

♡Rimmel Apocalips in Celestial: I'm you've all heard about the Apocalips on all on the blogs and on Youtube. Apocalips feels like a lipgloss, but has the coverage of a lipstick. Super pigmented with a satin smooth shine. It has a different texture, it's like a velvety lip cream. Super creamy and opaque as well. Celestial is a pink mauve which is a great neutral pink(ish) color! If you want to know more on the Apocalips, I have a full review right here.

♡Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the bronze: Color Tattoos are another beauty product that is popular in the beauty world! Bad to the Bronze is a great color to put alone on your eyelid when you're in a hurry and it looks like you've spent time doing your eye makeup! On my eyelid, Bad to the Bronze looks like a neutral shimmery tan with a bronze. Which is gorgeous for a day-to-day eye makeup look or if enhanced with dark colors it can make a gorgeous smokey eye!

♡Bourjois Bronzing Powder: First off, how cool is that it looks like chocolate? But I honestly don't think it actually smell like chocolate just something sweet. It looks quite subtle and natural.

♡Maybelline Fit me! Shine-Free: This is perfect for me as it's something you can ready fast in the early morning. It looks very natural. The packaging makes it super convenient for touch up during the day! If you wanna know more, I have a full review about this right here.

♡Kat Von D Everlasting Face Shaper Blush in Por Vida: This is the latest blush to enter my collection and I love it! The color, pigmentation, staying power and texture makes it great. This blush is described as a warm pink, it's accurate, but I would say that there's hint of corals while adding a bit of a glow! It's super pigmented as well! I also have a full review on this blush right here.

Happy 1st blogging birthday Sparkle This City!

If we go back to this date last year, I wrote my first blog post on Sparkle This City and I had no idea what I was doing. I just can't believe it. It went by way too fast and I'm sure this year will go by way too fast as well!!

Now that I understand and am more into blogging than ever I can't wait to see what this year will bring!! Also excited about college I had my first day yesterday which was more like a welcome day and stuff, but tomorrow my classes are starting! :O

Blogging is really not as easy as it looks, it's really time consuming with work/school/everything. Taking pictures, finding ideas, editing, writing, correcting and publicity! All that takes a whole lotta time, TRUST ME! But this year, I'll try to post waaay more.

Now that I'm better at posting more frequently and scheduling my posts; I have a good feeling about this year!! GET READY 2013-2014!! I have alot of goals blogging-wise and I really hope I accomplish them! Alot of promising ideas as well. Different kinds of post, maybe more fashion, lifestyle and stuff like that.

My passion for beauty is only getting bigger everyday and there's always new things to learn, to test out, to blog about, etc! Blogging is actually my main reason when I blog now, I'm like: Oh! well I'll blog about this so it's worth it ;) ahah!

I want all my followers/readers, all the sweet comments you leave me makes me so happy because I know people are actually reading my blog. Which means the world to me because I love doing this!! And I don't plan on stopping any time soon!!

In the meantime, I'll have new post up very soon! Also, make sure to enjoy everyday because next thing you know it'll be 2014. No time to waste! Do what you love and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! XOXO

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPARKLE THIS CITY!!

Maybelline Electro Baby Lips in Strike a rose

The second Electro Baby Lips to enter my collection. Strike a rose. A sheer coral-pink. Compared to the other one I have (Oh! Orange; review right here), this one is way more pigmented and moisturizing. My lips feel really soft after applying this one. For anyone who isn't familiar with baby lips, they are a tinted lip balm that comes with great shades, scents and packaging.

Baby Lips are the perfect tinted lip balms to add in your purse for the Summer as they aren't as heavy as lipstick. As they are lip balms the staying power isn't the best, but for balms I think it's good enough!

I can't quite explain what it smells like cause I have no idea, honestly. I know it smells like something familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it. Strike a rose is way different than other Baby Lips' formula in my opinion, the formula feels way more pigmented and moisturizing. The other ones feels more dry.

Strike a rose is one of those flashy colors that you can wear on a daily basis.

The Electro Baby Lips' packaging are so cute! Specially this one. The coral-pink writing looks so cute against the black.

What I love:

  • Pigmented
  • More moisturizing
  • Leaves my lips soft
  • Color
  • Packaging
What I don't like:
  • Staying power isn't the best

Here's a swatch of Strike a rose:

Tag | Confessions of a Blogger

Hello everyone! Today, I will be doing a tag. Hopefully you enjoy tags. I honestly really like reading tags because they are an interesting way to learn more about the blogger. This tag is about being a blogger/blogging, so any blogger can do this tag! :)

When did you start your blog?
My first blog posts were on the 4th of September (ALMOST a year did not even realise!!) and to be honest I didn't really knew what I was doing. I really only started around December.

Have you had any past online presence before (Other blog, YouTube)?
Yes I did. But I don't really remember the name and stuff, aha!

Why did you start a blog?
I've been watching videos from beauty guru on Youtube for a few years now. Once, I was watching a video (can't remember by who) but she was talking about her beauty blog. And I started reading and reading and reading blogs and became in love with blogs. As I've always wanted to start my own Youtube beauty channel but feared the criticism-- blogging seemed perfect for me as I love: beauty, writing, taking pictures and editing! It's now my favorite thing in the world and I'm so glad I discovered the blogging community :)

When did you become serious about starting a blog?
To be quite honest, I've always struggled with posting frequently from the beginning. It was new and I had to organize my time better since I was always busy this year. I feel like I'm getting more serious/better about posting frequently and that the quality of my posts are improving more now. But I'd that around the month of April, I started taking it more seriously and my post has improved around that time and wishing that they continue to improve as the time goes by :)

What was your first post?
It was a short fashion post about trends for autumn. ahahah!

What has been your biggest challenge about blogging?
Finding the time to blog is mine.

Where do you see your blog in one year?
I have no idea! But I'm super excited about another upcoming blogging year!

What is the most rewarding thing to you about blogging?
I love meeting like-minded people. Reading comments and tweets is one of the best thing in the world. It makes my day when someone comments and show that they are interested!

What is the most discouraging thing that happens to you?
Honestly, when I don't get comments it makes me feel like I'm talking to myself! :(

What's your lasting inspiration or motivation?
I find inspiration from everyone and everywhere, bloggers, youtubers and etc. I love seeing how people are passionate and dedicated about what they're talking about. I love seeing parts of people lives' on blogs/youtube. I love seeing what everyone is loving at the moment and reviews... which makes me spend so much! But that's part of being a blogger, right?

Hopefully, you enjoyed reading this tag and learnt a few things about me/my blog.

Kat Von D Blush in Por Vida

To be honest, this is my first Kat Von D beauty product. The main reason being that I often purchase high-end brands/products that I see alot of reviews on them, cause obviously if I pay the price I want to have a great product! But for this product I bought it just like that, without reading reviews on it or it being on my wishlist, saw the color and it looked like nothing I had so, of course I had to have it! Kat Von D's makeup line seems to be not that popular on blogs/Youtube and I don't understand cause from this product I can say that it's probably a great makeup line!

Some people might think the packaging seems kinda cheap, but I quite like the design and the shape of it. I find the roses on it so cute! hehe!

Really like having a mirror with my blushes as well - very practical.

This blush color is described as a warm pink which I can say is accurate. But there's also hint of corals - which I adore. This blush has an illuminating/glowing effect which I love. It has a light sheen to it.

This blush has a great pigmentation, texture and lasting power.

Pigmentation// It's super pigmented so you should be applying it with light hand and don't forget to blend as it's quite blendable.

Texture// The texture is quite soft and easy to work with!

Lasting power// Although it claims to have a 24-hour wear, I can't say whether it's true or not, because I will never wear my blush for 24 hours. But I can say that at the end of the day it fades a bit.

Overall, I have NOTHING negative to say about this product. I think it's flawless! aha! Great color, pigmentation and easy to work with is all I'm looking for in a blush!! There's seven blushes in this collection and I already want more. I think that this product has me a new fan of Kat Von D's makeup line.

Button Swap

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a wonderful day and weekend!

I am now doing button swaps. I will be adding them all on the left side at the bottom. The HTML code for my button is there as well.

*For those who don't know what button swaps are, it's basically just exchanging your blog button with someone else. They put your blog button on their blog and you put theirs on yours. Basically like advertising your blog on someone elses; so that their readers can easily check out your blog by clicking on the button.

*To create your blog button, you can go on picmonkey.com. Upload any picture. Go to overlay and choose and square/rectangle shape and add it over the picture. Crop it to a somewhat square shape. Then add shapes, your blog name, etc on it. I'd recommend resizing it to 200x200 before saving it.

*If you want to have an HTML code, I'd recommend using Photobucket for it.

Now that you're probably more informed on what are Button Swap are and you are interested, you can email me at sparklethiscity@outlook.com. Please note that I'm just starting out with this and that I don't know everything yet just giving out the basic stuff, hopefully it helped someone out!

My new blog button!

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

Hi beauties! Today I will be reviewing the latest mascara to enter my collection. Mascaras are actually something I don't buy that much since they tend to dry out quickly and you're *supposed* to throw them away.

This is a well known mascara in the beauty community. I would say it's decent, I mean it's a good mascara but I honestly think it's not that special. It adds volume and length but not in the way that I would like to. Volume is what I want more of, but it doesn't exactly do that, sadly. Doesn't give the effect of false lashes on me. But it doesn't clump, which is a plus.

The brush is like a spoon aha, it's curved. What I like about it is that it fills the gap.

Overall, I think that this mascara is an okay one. Not the best, not the worst. I feel like it works for some and doesn't work for some people. Maybe it's for you, but wasn't completely for me.

Summer Series || Favorite Nail Polish

Hi beauties!

I honestly can't believe that Summer is almost coming to end *crying*. But it means that I'm closer to starting a new chapter in my life: going to college in September, where I'll be studying to become a Graphic Designer! :)

Summer went by way too fast... I haven't seen the time pass. So that's why this is only the 2nd post off of my Summer Series! And I have alot of great ideas for my Summer Series, so hopefully I'll get the chance to post them all before Summer ends (please don't end.)

Soooo, today I'll be telling you about the nail polishes I've been loving this summer. For me, Summer screams neon, pinks and corals. (coral year-round really... ahaha). So I've been trying to limit myself to only a few polishes but I could've picked like 20. Honestly. Anyways, enough rambling... let's start for real now!

Essie Turquoise and Caicos// Essie seems to always have the best summer collections. Shame on me for not getting Naughty Nautical this year, sooo gorgeous! Don't know if it's still available. Although I think Turquoise and Caicos was limited addition but they added it to their permanent collection, I think. It's a gorgeous muted turquoise color that looks great with a tan. The color is great after 2-3 coats. I can say that this is a staple in my nail polish collection.

Essie Tart Deco// This and Turquoise and Caicos seems to be the ultimate summer duo! Tart Deco is a bright orange/melon coral with hint of pinks. The absolute perfect shade with a tan. One of my all-time favorite as well!

Sally Hansen Pacific Blue// This color is like the perfect vibrant blue... it's such an original polish! Not expensive and you basically need only one coat and it's really opaque! This one is guaranteed compliments!

China Glaze Dance Baby// Such a bright color. Dance Baby is a vivid bubblegum pink with tinge of purple, but not really a neon, more of a pastel! I believe this was also a limited edition product (sorry about that!), since it was in their ElectroPop collection... Only need 2 coats and it's opaque. Nothing like I have in my collection!

China Glaze Peachy Keen// Nice bright peach color. Funny how it's bright and pastel at the same time. But cool. Sorry, but this is yet another nail polish that was in a collection! Not sure if it's still available.

Wet N Wild Tropicalia// The perfect coral pink for the Summertime! Bright, but not bright enough that you can't wear on a daily basis. This polish line has a wider brush which I love, the formulas are amazing and all that for a cheap price! Dries up really fast as well.

Maybelline Fit Me! Shine-Free Foundation

During the summer, I like to do a quick and easy makeup. Because of the weather I prefer to have a very light and simple makeup look.

For me, I feel like one of the most annoying makeup to apply is foundation. You have to be careful with it, make sure you blend it very well and your hands can get messy. Which is really time consuming to me. But with this Maybelline Fit Me! Shine-Free Foundation, it's super easy! It's one of the main thing that I really like about this product how easy is the application. The time for my makeup routine has decreased with this lovely product! Easy to apply, blends very well and no messy hands. Also, it's very light and doesn't feel like you have heavy makeup on!

I have the shade Classic Ivory 120.
I haven't seen anything like this with drugstore makeup. Maybelline seems to be the brand that does what all the other drugstore brands doesn't have and that's why they are one of my favorite drugstore brand. I would say that the cover light-medium, it is buildable. I apply a few streaks on my face and voila! It's very natural and evens out my complexion.

As it's in a stick form, you'd think that it'd be kind off dry, but it's not dry at all... it's actually very creamy. The name ''shine-free'' is not 100% true as I have seen some oiliness, but don't worry -- nothing major!

Overall, it's a great product. Great for the summer. It's amazing as an ''on the go product''! On the other hand, the packaging is super sleek and convenient, you can easily put it in your purse and basically use it everywhere. Now, I want more sticks foundations! ahah! Xx

Products I regret buying

I think it's great to have good review on our blogs. But it's also important to inform our readers what we don't really like. And that's what I'm doing today.

First off, the least that I'm trying to do is give those brands a bad reputation. They are all great brands that I support and some of them are my favorite brands! The products that I'm featuring might be a favorite for you, makeup doesn't always work the same way for everyone. Might not work for me, but might work for you. :)

SWATCHES, From left to right starting with Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer to a few swatches of Physicians Formula Casual Palette.

1. Lise Watier Magnifix Make-Up Fixative with White Tea
This makeup fixative just doesn't work for my skin. After applying my makeup I spray this on my face and it gives my skin the sensation that it's burning or something, very not pleasant. The other day, it had contact with my eyes; my eyes got so teary that all my eye makeup was practically ruined and I was in a rush so I had to fix it pretty quick!! It doesn't really remove the powdery effect off of my skin which I want I usually buy a make-up fixative for.

2. Bourjois Volume Glamour Mascara
This mascara basically did nothing for my eyelashes other than barely add black to my lashes. It doesn't add lenght or volume, just adds color. That's not what I'm looking for in a mascara! Alot of people seem to love this mascara...  I can't see why. The packaging is pretty though, that's the least I can say! Around here, Bourjois is pretty rare to find. So I was super excited to try this mascara. One thing that I do hope is that it hasn't been on the shelf for too long and dried out or something like that...

3. Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer
I always get excited about trying out drugstore primer because they are pretty rare. But my excitement didn't last long. This primer creases like crazy after only a few hours. It looks worst than if I actually had NO primer at all... I do not recommend this product at all.

4. Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in Nude Candy
This color looks super pretty in the tube. But on the lips, not at all. The application is the worst: goes in every lines on your lips and is patchy. Makes me look so dull/sick.  The texture is not interesting at all. The only thing I like about it is the smell.

5. Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Brilliant Bordeaux
The moment I applied this liquid lipstick I thought this was the best thing ever/best color for me/etc. (and the people that were with me thought so too!) At first the color seems to go on evenly but just wait a few minutes, quickly enough, it dried up and got that splotchy look and wasn't even the same color everywhere (lighter and darker). It's not comfortable on the lips at ALL. It's super sticky! The color is absolutely gorgeous but the texture/application is the WORST ever.

6. Almay Liquid Lip balm in Pink Pout
Not the worst product ever. It's just that I feel like it does nothing for me. The color seemed bright in the packaging but it's very, very, very sheer with almost no effect of a gloss. I didn't notice any improvement with the condition of my lips while using it. But it does have a nice texture and feels comfortable on the lips!

7. Physicians Formula Casual Palette
I was always intrigued by this palette. I tought the colors looked cool together! Aha! So when I got it on sale for about .93cent, I was more than pleased to try it! Most of these eyeshadows are dry, super sheer and chalky. I looked for swatches online and they looked more pigmented than mine! I just hope it wasn't on sale because it has been on the shelf for too long...

Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition

Hi beauties! Hoping you all had a nice weekend. I was suppose to go to a concert this weekend so I had the weekend off; but plans didn't really turn out well. So I just stayed home and relaxed. Tried to enjoy my days off and enjoying the Summer sun. And accomplish the things I haven't had the chance to do due to being too busy lately.

So, today, I'm planning on doing a more in-depth review about the Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition which was feature in my Summer Series || Favorite Lipsticks (can check it out right here.)

To start off, I love Maybelline Color Whispers! I think they are a great collection! For people who aren't really familiar with them; they are pure color pigments suspended in a weightless gel (described by Maybelline). They kinda remind me of Revlon Lip Butter but they are not as heavy.

* Why do I heart them so much? *

I think the color pay off is great. It is sheer but buildable. You barely feel like you have something on your lips. It's very light weight and comfortable on the lips. While adding a beautiful touch of color it will add a gorgeous to it as well! It's super moisturising.  The texture is great, it's super soft, silky, smooth and glides on super easily. One of the only downside to Color Whisper is that they do not last that long; but they are so easy to apply that it doesn't bother me. If I'm having a bad face day, I'll most likely have a Color Whisper in my purse and it will add that extra-oomph! that I need. Of course, the packaging is so cute and sleek. What's not to love?

* More about Coral Ambition *

As alot of you might know, I'm obsessed with anything coral, coral orange, coral pink... you name it! Not just during the summertime but it's one of my favorite color in general!! Coral Ambition is one of the last coral lippies to enter my collection. I would describe it as orange coral that is not too orangey. It's more pale than what corals usually are. It's such a beautiful, wearable color for everyday. I think that this is the perfect coral for people who have a hard time/shy away from bright orange coral!

Random Walmart Haul

You're probably suprised right now. With the fact that I DO buy other things other than makeup/beauty related things. Although they're probably all considered 'beauty' except the CD's/DVD! Aha omg.. Makeup addict probs. But you get what I mean.

For the past few months I've been trying to save because I'm leaving for College in September. I've tried going less to the stores where I can spend too much (like Walmart). But I don't think it was a good idea, because, since I've been going less to the stores, I've been reading alot of blog posts and adding stuff to my 'to-buy list', so the things I want have just increased way moreee! So I don't think it's a good idea to stop buying stop to try to save money. I'm a shopaholic and I don't think there's a cure!!

As you can see, I've bought alot of things! I don't think that you want to hear about everything that isn't beauty related and it would be too much of a long post anyway. So I'll just do a resume about everything.

From left to right, The first thing is Calgon Moisturizing Shower & Foam Bath, which I have no idea why I bought, because I just bought Soap & Glory Foam Call (think I forgot or something), the smell is so wonderful anyways! I bought Listerine Fresh Burst Pocketpacks, those things are like a rectangle of something minty (?) that you put in your mouth and it just melts away and your mouth will feel so refreshed ahah! I used to buy those all the time when I was younger. :) I bought the Scunci Value Pack that comes with 28 elastics and 5 headbands, I bought this cause I needed some simple black headbands and elastics. I've been wanting to see Life of Pi for the longest time, seems like such a wonderful film!

I bought Almay color + care liquid lip balm in Pink Pout. I've seen this Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments in Never Fade Jade in an add in a magazine and it looked SO beautiful. I think it will be a great addition to my collection for the summertime and also a great way to colors to my everyday neutral look. :) I've been wanting this CD for quite a while now, I absolutely ADORE Mumford & Sons, this is Babel. Can't wait to listen it! Without thinking, I bought Robin Thicke's album, although I adore Blurred Lines and think it's the song of the summer, I usually never buy a CD to add it to my collection unless I LOVE the band/musician. I haven't heard much about Robin Thicke but I hope his CD won't dissapoint me. Last but not least, I've bought Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover shadow primer which I'm super stocked about because it's pretty rare to find cheap drugstore alternative to high end primer, so hope it's worth it!

Here's a close up of the beauty products I bought. If you want any review on the products I bought please leave in the comments below.
I hope you enjoyed this post that featured more than beauty. Altough I'm obsessed with beauty, I like other things! :) Other than that, I hope you're all having/had a lovely day... here it's been raining all day which is kinda annoying (specially when it's on your day off!) but atleast I did a lil shopping to cheer me up! :) Xx

REVIEW | Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

If you're reading this, it's probably because you're apart of the beauty community... you probably: have a blog, read blogs, watch YouTube videos and have a big collection of makeup! So it's obvious that you already know all about this product, know how great it is and probably own it too! The product that I'm talking about is obviously the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion which I will be reviewing and rave about it like everybody in the beauty world! Haha!

To start off, what do you guys think of my creative photos? Ahaha, I'm so proud of them-- I adore how it's all light purple. So pretty! Need to start getting more creative with my pictures!

Okay, now on to the review. This product is wonderful. It's one of my must-have. This is my second one. I've had a small one with the classic packaging with original Naked Palette. Which I must admit that the classic packaging looked much cooler, but at the end it'd be harder to take out the product and you'd end losing some. So for this part, this packaging is way better; since you don't end up losing any product. But the application with the classic one was way better since it had a wand.

Without this product, my eyeshadow WILL crease during the day. This primer will make your eyeshadow more pigmented/vibrant and stay on all day without creasing at all. It will smoothly glide on your eyelid. Yes, it can be quite expensive (24$), but you only need a really small quantity so the tube will last a really long time!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in ''Original'':
Urban Decay has four Primer Potion to their collection. I have the original one. As you can see on the picture, it kinda looks nude when you swatch it but, it dries down invisible.

Overall, this is one of my must-have. It's great also if you have an event/prom/wedding/night out to attend. But for me, I use it on a daily basis and I couldn't live without it. Primer is essential for me and it makes all the difference!

Summer Drugstore Haul // Bourjois, Soap & Glory, Nails Inc.

Hi beauties! Today, I went for a visit to my local pharmacy and I haven't been there for a while. Of course, as a beauty lover like myself I wanted to buy everything. I knew that my pharmacy had Soap & Glory and a few, a very few, Bourjois products. So I decided that I would buy 2 out of the 3 Bourjois products. Also, to my big suprise, they now carry Nails Inc. line of nail polishes.

I had a really good day off today. After working 7 days in a row I think I deserved a good day off and little treat! aha! Went for a little drive (stop at my pharmacy of course), enjoyed the sun (finally!), listened to good music, took my first pictures of products outside for my blog (nobody was outside expect my dad, and he was too busy to even notice I was taking pictures of my beauty products ahah!) and went out to a restaurant with my family!

As I said I was really suprised to see the Nails Inc. nailpolish line in my pharmacy. And I'm really happy about that since they seem to be quite popular in the beauty world! I rarely buy nail polishes unless I've seen swatches or someone rave about it aha. But this color instatly catched my eyes, it's exactly in my alley and seems like the perfect color for summer. A beautiful peachy coral pink coral is how I would describe it.

As I said Bourjois products are really rare to find around here. In my pharmacy they only carry about 3 out of the Bourjois line, so I tought why not try some since it's a very popular brand everywhere but where I live ahah! :( This kit comes with the Volume Glamour Mascara in Noir Ébène and Khôl & Contour in Noir Expert. I'm excited to try out these!

Ahhh! My second Soap & Glory product! I'm seriously getting addicted. I've been wanting a body wash from them for the longest time. But my pharmacy only carried Clean on me, and to be honest I don't know if I want to have a body wash that smells like perfume or something, but while browsing through I found this, I've never seen it before... the smell is what really made me want to buy it smells like fruits and mint. That's so me aha! As all the other Soap & Glory products, the packaging is flawless--also, the pump adds a nice fancy touch to it!

I've been looking for this bronzer for the longest time and I finally found it! The packaging is super cute, it looks like a chocolate and kinda smells like it too. Alot of people rave about this product so I'm excited to try it out!

Here are some swatches:

Hopefully you enjoyed my little haul! I might write a review on some of those products, so if there's any you're really interested in knowing more about please do let me know in the comments below! Xx
