Favourites | July

Hi beauties! I'm back on track with my favorites. I didn't get the change to do my June Favorites cause I wasn't home. Which made me sad because I love my favorites with ya'll! I can't believe we're already the month of August! I literally feel like Summer just started, so weird! Anyways let's get into what I've been loving for the month of July.

For Summer, I've been loving light, coral and glowy makeup.

|Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in Tipsy|
During the Summer, I seem to be using up my corals/orange stuff! Even though I use it all year-long; I find that with a tan it looks G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! Anyhow this blush is a matte coral, seems like a scary color but it's not.  It's pigmented but it remains somewhat sheer.  Oh, also, how cute is the packaging? If you want to have more information, I have a full review on this product here.
Wet N' Wild Cream Shadow in Pixie: This is one product that I always stop using for a long period of time and then fall back in love with it and wonder why I stopped using it. I love using this cream shadow in the inner corner of my eyes; it makes me look more awake!

|Wet N Wild Blusher in Pearlescent Pink|
Another blush I reach out for during the Summer season. It looks great year-long, but it looks gorgeous with a tan! It's the perfect medium pink color with gold shimmer in it. Just enough shimmer to give you a nice glow. This blush is pigmented and has great staying power. As all the other Wet N' Wild blushes.

|Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait|
I just included this Lip Butter in my latest blogpost (here), a medium peachy shade with gold glitter. It's a perfect color for the summer, but it's one of my favorite lipstick of all time!

|Benefit the POREfessional primer|
This primer minimizes pore quickly. The cool thing is that is minimizes my pores even when I don't have it on. So I guess you consider it almost like a skincare product. It has a really nice silky texture. Also, I have a review up on my blog right here.

|Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion|
This is cult favorite in the beauty community. This primer will make your eyeshadow last all day without creasing and also make any eyeshadow appear more pigmented and brighter.

|Covergirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation|
This is a great foundation for the Summer months, it's airy and light. The mousse-like/whipped texture makes the application super simple. Does not look cakey and it looks very natural; it almost feels as if you have no foundation on. It doesn't change color throughout the day, which is great. The only thing I don't like is that the product goes down so quickly! Haven't had it for that long and I'm almost out of it. I have a full review right here.

|Stila In The Light Eyeshadow Palette|
I've been wanting this palette for the longest time and I finally got it a few weeks ago. I love it! It comes with 10 shades and a Stila eyeliner in Damsel. I love it! I won't say much about it since I've only got it a few weeks ago and plan on doing a full review on it.

Hope you enjoyed my July Favorites. What did you love in the month of July!?

Summer Series || Favorite Lipsticks

Hi beauties!

I am so happy that I am finally getting better at organising my time so that I can blog more frequently. :) I hope you are enjoying my more frequent posts.

That being said, finding new and interesting thing to blog about is getting harder when you blog more I find. So I asked on Twitter: what should be my next blog post? And I got an answer from Ash B @ABeautyMoment saying I should do a post on my Fave Summer Lippies! So I was like that's what I'm gonna do! I've had that idea of doing a Summer Essentials of some sort, so I tought why not do Summer Series? So that's what I'm doing; I hope you'll enjoy my first blog series.

So this might seem like a big amount of lipsticks for just one blog post. But I had a hard time to limit myself and not picking like 30 lipsticks product instead of just 9. I tried putting just one of different brands (ex. just one Lip Butters, Baby Lips, Vivids) cause it would have been a long, overwhelming post. During the warmer months of the year, I like to wear brighter colors like pinks, coral, oranges, bright fuschias and all that jazz. You know.

From left to right

Revlon Lip Butter Peach Parfait:
A medium peachy shade with gold glitters. It's a unique color not something you usually find at a drugstore. It's a sheer color, but buildable. Some people don't like glitter in lipstick, and I'm not the biggest fan of that also, although they are noticeable; I still like it. It's one of my most used lipstick, I'm almost out of it and I will surely repurchase! I believe this is the first time I repurchase a lipstick.

Maybelline Color Whisper Coral Ambition:
I love how this a orange coral but not too orange, if that makes any sense. It:'s like a soft peach/pink coral. This is the perfect kind of coral for people that doesn't have the right complexion for coral although it'd suit anyone in my opinion.

Essence Coralize Me!:
Frosty pink with slight orange/coral undertones. It's not the longest lasting lipstick, but the unique color is what I really love about it! It's actually natural and perfect for the Summertime.

Maybelline Baby Lips Melon Mania:
In the tube, it looks like it'd be a bright pink, but it doesn't appear like that on the lips. It leaves a very, very sheer pink on the lips. Even if it's sheer it's smooth and comfortable on the lips but not tacky or greasy. Leaves glossy finish which I really like. Baby Lips are the perfect lip product for Summer, I could of included all my collection but that would have been too much, but I do have a review on my collection here.

Revlon Pink In The Afternoon:
Medium pink with hint of peach/coral. (From this post, I think it's obvious that I'm a big fan of anything coral) One of my all time favorite lipstick of all time. This is a pink that would suit all the skin complexion. It's super pigmented and creamy. The name reminded the song Nine In The Afternoon by one of my favorite band of all-time, Panic at the Disco! :) It's the perfect color for everyday!

Buxom Creamsicle:
A beautiful peach sorbet color. When applied on the lips it has tingling sensation with a smell of mint! Super pigmented, not sticky. It has a great staying power as well.

Revlon Coral Reef:
A milky orangey coral lipgloss. Super smooth and not that sticky. Semi opaque. Great lipgloss for Summer!

Covergirl Berry Twist:
Bright pink-berry shade. I don't know how to explain this but it's not really sheer while still being a bright color that you could wear everyday! So if you want to have a bright wearable color during the day, I highly suggest you this one.

Maybelline Pink Pop:
Bright pink with purple undertones. Reminds me of bubblegum, ahah! It's the perfect lipstick for a Summer night out down town. The formula is really high quality. The pigmentation is amazing as well.

Well there you go, my first post of my Summer Series, please do let me know if you enjoy those kind of posts! :)

What's your favorite lip product for this Summer? xo

Review || NEW: Covergirl Clean Whipped Cream Foundation

Today, I will be reviewing a new product from Covergirl. The Clean Whipped Cream Foundation. In my makeup collection, to be quite honest, I don't have that much Covergirl products. But when I saw this, the packaging caught my eyes instantly and I thought: that's a oretty cool concept! So I picked it up in the shade 305, which I believe is the lightest shade. I'm not a pale person, but I still feel like it's a bit too dark for me at the moment!

Covergirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation in 305.

I really like the packaging. I like the fact that's white, which really suits the name clean... but I'm sure it wont be like that for long. White is a color that gets dirty fast, which is a bummer! Also as you may have noticed alot of product goes in the cap.

Consistency/Texture: Thick and mousse-like/whipped. I have never owned a foundation like this to be honest. Now, I want to try all those types of foundation. I can honestly say that this is one of the best foundation that I have tried. It's really rich and creamy.

Application: The application of this is so amazing. Very easy to apply and blend. I used my Real Techniques Buffing Brush for application. (Really need to wash my brushes asap! OOPS!)

Coverage: I'm gonna say it's a medium coverage to a buildable full coverage. Doesn't look cakey and looks very natural, you will almost feel like you have no foundation on! It's a very light foundation, perfect for the hot summer days.

Scent: More on the negative side, the scent is not something I really like, it smells kinda too make-up(ey) for my taste mixed with something else that I can't put my fingers on.

I believe that this would suit all skin types. I have oily skin myself, and I have not noticed oily-ness throughout the day: I use a good primer, powder and a makeup spray, so maybe that's why! :) Also, it doesn't change color, which makes me so happy, because let's just say that there's nothing more annoying than that.

So if you want an easy to apply foundation with medium to full coverage, light, with a very nice finish and breathable foundation this is the one for you!!

Perfect red lips for the holidays

This Super Lustrous Lipstick from Revlon in the shade Fire & Ice is what I would call a perfect holiday lips. It's such a vibrant and classic red. You can't go wrong with it.
Bordeaux by Rimmel London is a bordeaux color (like the name said it!), if you would like more of a dark look but still have the holiday glamour. This is the one for you.
If you would prefer something more subtle and more easy to work with. This is a great red lipgloss! Essence XXXL shine lipgloss in the shade True Love is super pigmented and super easy to apply. I would say its a must-have for year-round.
Taylor Swift fan? Search no more, in an interview she said that this lipstick is her go to signature red. It's the Covergirl lipstick in Hot. I always wondered what red lipstick Taylor Swift had as her signature look, and now the secret is out!!
Revlon lip butter in Red Velvet, this is a really good option if you're not used to wear dark lips. Because you can sheer it out; like any other Revlon lip butter. It's a darker red but less darker than Bordeaux by Rimmel.
Baby lips by Maybelline are great for people who are only starting to wear lipstick, especially red lips, this is why Cherry Me, is a great color! If you want something not too dramatic for the holidays, but still have a nice touch of color this is the one for you!
Here are some swatches of them all:
